Bury Knowle Park is one of Oxford's most vibrant tennis venues. It has 4 fantastic hard courts which are widely used, especially on Sunday mornings where many children and adults join the local community coaching sessions throughout the year. These courts are available to book online year round.
As one of the many parks maintained by Oxford City Council, it has fantastic facilities including free table tennis, an extensive children's adventure play area, family picnic tables and grassy areas for all kinds of sports and activities. It is also home to Headington library.
Premier Tennis provides a great value community tennis coaching programme across Oxford which is both affordable and inclusive to all the public. With no membership required and all sessions available as Pay-and-Play, there’s something for all your family and friends.
Bury Knowle has excellent transport links, being situated on London Road and just off the ring-road with many routes stopping through Headington. Roadside parking is available for free on Chestnut Avenue or alternatively across the park in the M&S Pay & Display carpark.
There are no changing rooms or toilets onsite. These courts are not wheelchair friendly.
