We look at some of the best and popular clubs where you are able to play rugby in London.
Old Actonians in West London is the perfect location for your next Rugby match. The full sized rugby pitch is kept in good shape throughout the year by the dedicated staff so whatever the weather, your game should be good to go. The facility has free parking, but is also very close to Acton Town underground station if you'd rather travel by public transport. There are also changing rooms onsite, handy if you're looking to play straight from work.
Home to Hammersmith and Fulham RFC, Hurlingham Park offers 2 full sized grass rugby pitches and the club is active in multiple leagues as well offering a variety of social events. There is easy access to the venue by Putney Bridge underground station or by car with pay and display parking facilities nearby.
Based in North West London, Gladstone Park has the facilities for 2 grass rugby pitches, and is within easy walking distance of Dollis Hill train station. There is also pay and display parking available at the venue, and the park also has a café available for a bite to each after your game.
Shoreditch Park, just north of the city centre, boasts an excellent full sized grass pitch perfect for your after work rugby game. The central location makes the venue very easy to get to via public transport, with Hoxton overground station nearby, but if you'd rather travel by car there is pay and display parking available.
St Mary’s University College offer 2 pitches on a pay as you play basis. Additionally the SIMMSQuinns programme offers coaching to younger players every weekend throughout the season. Based in South West London, the venue is a 5 minute walk from Strawberry Hill overground station, but there is also free parking and changing facilities onsite.
