There is a single concrete tennis court that also moonlights as a netball court. A full size hockey pitch is available for hire for £85 per hour during off-peak times and £129.60 in peak. There are floodlights around the pitch and changing rooms. John Orwell Sports Centre opens between 7am and 10pm on week days, 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and then from 9am to 7pm on a Sunday

Everyone Active – Free Swim and Gym
Southwark Council have partnered with Everyone Active to enable local residents to use the swim and gym facilities for free in six of the borough’s leisure centres. From 29th July onwards Southwark locals can take advantage of this deal anytime on Friday and Saturday or Sunday afternoons post 2pm until close. In a bid to reach a new audience Over 60s can get involved in any Silver sessions free of charge. An extension of this initiative means disabled residents in the area can use all the leisure facilities for free throughout the week.
