Additional info for Middlesbrough residents
Middlesbrough council have worked tirelessly in recent years to make sporting facilities more accessible to its residents. In 2017, £330,000 was injected into building 6 state-of-the-art football pitches in the Middlesbrough Sport Village. The initiative was part of the centre’s football development programme which now allows over 50 local teams to train at the venue each week. The village also boasts an indoor athletics track, gym and multi-game sports court for the public to enjoy.
