The centre has a 30m swimming pool which can be used for a chilled out session or a proper fitness workout, suitable for all abilities. The facility also has a well-maintained gym if you’re looking to get a workout in before or after you head to work. The venue offers paid parking facilities but due to its proximity to the high street, is accessible easily by bus or one of the three local rail/underground stations, Wimbledon, South Wimbledon and Haydons road.

Canons Leisure Centre

This multi-purpose venue has facilities for 6 different sports so there’s something for everyone at Canons Leisure Centre. Along with a sports hall with basketball, badminton and 5 a side football, the centre has a floodlit 3G Astroturf football pitch suitable for 5 a side, 6 a side and 7 a side matches. There are also gym and swimming facilities and 2 squash courts including an internal league if you’re looking for a competitive game. The venue has free parking and is located within walking distance of Mitcham Junction rail station if you’d rather take public transport.

Abbey Recreation Ground

If you’re after an 11 a side football pitch in Merton, Abbey Recreation Ground have a full sized astroturf pitch, available to book all day every day as long as the evenings allow. With pay and display parking and changing room facilities, it’s easy as ever to pop down after work or on the weekend and get a game in. The ground also has excellent public transport links with South Wimbledon underground station nearby and local trams running under 5 minutes from the venue.
