Nescot College of further and higher education
Nescot College offers you facilities for three of the most popular sports in the capital. With both indoor and outdoor 5 a side football pitches, outdoor netball courts, and a full-sized grass rugby pitch, this venue has everything you need if you’re into your team sports. The indoor sports hall is also bookable for a range of activities such as badminton, basketball and tennis. The facility has changing rooms to make your transition to court that much easier, and is well served by local transport links, including Ewell East rail station which is 5 minutes’ walk away.
Auriol park is home to a full-sized 11 a side grass football pitch available to book, however if you prefer the small-sided version of the game, there is also a concrete 5 a side pitch. The venue has a selection of outdoor tennis courts available, and the facility is pay as you play, so you can get on with your game without commitment to a membership. A 10 minutes walk from Worcester Park rail station will have you warmed up and ready to play, and don’t worry about getting changed before you leave, as the football facilities have changing rooms available.
Horton Park Golf and Country Club
Looking for a local game of golf? You’ll find it at Horton Park, which is pay as you play so you don’t have to worry about becoming a member. The venue have free parking, and is complete with a driving range and golf buggies should you desire them. The course can be played in both 9 hole and 18 hole formats and has shop stocked with all the sporting goods you could need. So stick your clubs in your car, or walk up the road from Ewell West rail station, and get on the course.
