You may have already heard the news, but in case you had not, Playfinder has landed in Brighton! This means we don’t just count London, Manchester and Dublin as our sporting homes but now to Brighton. So, apart from having breathtaking beaches and glorious views, Brighton also offers some wonderful sporting venues. Notably, Brighton has some great five-a-side pitches so why not gather some mates and discover these brilliant pitches that Brighton has to offer.
BACA Sports Centre
One of our flagship sites in Brighton. BACA is a wonderful venue with lots on offer. The staff keeps the playing surface in excellent condition all year round. Due to the fact the pitch is based indoors, it means regardless of weather and temperature. It is possible to play throughout the winter months, so no need to fret about a frozen or waterlogged playing surface. The venue has changing rooms to offer which is a great incentive if you’re travelling from work.
Brighton Youth Centre
The Brighton Youth Centre is more than just a place to ‘hang out’. It is a place that offers a whole range of fabulous activities and venue spaces at your disposal to hire at a terrific cost. The sports hall does not only facilities for five-a-side football, but, basketball, archery, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and more. Also a large venue for gigs or parties. The venue is very welcoming and friendly, so is definitely a venue to play when in Brighton.
Stanley Deason Leisure Centre
At Stanley Deason Leisure Centre you’re spoilt for choice in terms of what pitch is your preference. You could either decide to play indoors, meaning you can play all throughout the year. AstroTurf or the highly popular 4G AstroTurf so it really is personal preference. The Stanley Deason Leisure Centre provides floodlights if you’re playing outdoors as well as changing rooms. The Venue is based centrally. Meaning the venue is walking distance from Brighton train station, making it simpler for those based on the outskirts of Brighton.
Impulse leisure
Impulse leisure, which is based roughly 5 miles from Brighton central in Southwick. Is a fantastic indoor facility to play five-a-side football in Brighton the line markings are clear and concise so you shouldn’t have any worries about any foul play from the opposition keeper not knowing their own six-yard box. The staff at Impulse leisure are very helpful, they keep the playing surface in excellent playing condition. The venue has changing rooms to use when you book, they are well maintained and suitable for teams or individuals. It’s also great for teams as it means you can prepare for games in comfort and in good time.
Longhill Sports Centre
At the Longhill Sports Centre, you can either play indoor or on grass, it’s entirely your choice. Longhill Sports Centre, which is based East of Brighton central meaning the nearest train station being Moulsecoomb is not far and it makes for an excellent cool down after a competitive game of football with friends. The venue is open weekdays 7 am to 10 pm and on the weekend 8 am to 6 pm thus making it very accessible all through the week.
